Truck Technician Needed MCK Trucking is expanding. We are a growing company, seeking an experienced and talented tractor/trailer technician to join our Haviland, OH. team. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing all basic maintenance needs for late model
tractors and trailers. To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit, self-driven and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic's tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with excellent communication. Position details - Ability to perform roadside service calls - Able to work efficiently and independently - Perform tractor /trailer repairs on different makes, models, and custom equipment - Stay current with all preventative maintenance and prioritize repairs according to business needs - Ability to work with fleet software Education: - High school or equivalent - ASE Certified or willingness to obtain - Technical school a plus but not required Experience: - Basic Knowledge of the FMCSA's rules and regulations. - CDL license or ability to obtain within 90 days required - Knowledge with electric and hydraulic trailer lifts is a plus - Two years minimum experience in a shop setting - Fabrication experience a plus - Must own complete set of basic tools, specialty will be supplied Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday - Overtime is expected Benefits - Medical Insurance - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Paid Time Off - 401K Match - Company supplied service truck We are an equal opportunity employer and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age or status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
