• Certification Details
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
  • Job Details
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from a certain Indian RN employment restriction.
  • IU Health University and Methodist require travel nurses to agree to precepting or being assigned students.
  • Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have applied for licensure.
  • Cerner Experience Required.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted; No Travel Pairs Working Together On This Unit.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 Year Experience.
    • Surgical Intensive Care Unit Experience.
    • Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
    • Management of dysrhythmias.
    • Continuous IV sedation.
    • Care of Ventilated Patient.
    • Experience in Trauma Designated facility.
    • IV Starts.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
      • Make up for call-ins during the pay period if a 0.9 FTE, or added at the end of the contract.
      • 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract.
      • Work every other week per their contract.
      • Consecutive weekends may be needed.
      • Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Information: Specializes in critical care for injuries such as gunshot wounds, blunt traumatic injury, accidents, etc.
          • Additional Details
          • Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
          • Staffing Ratios: 1:2-3.
          • Floating Requirements: May float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided.
