  • Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (with exceptions)
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS
  • IU Health University and Methodist require travel nurses to agree to preceptorship or assignment of students
  • In/Compact license required
  • Teaching facilities require agreement to the possibility of precepting or being assigned students
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 Year Experience
    • Variable shift schedules including weekends
    • Willingness to take on unit charge nurse responsibilities if needed
    • Ability to float to different levels of care within the hospital
      • Schedule Information
      • PER WEEK REQUIREMENTS BASED ON UNIT NEEDS
      • Contracted Travelers must be able to work 50% of weekends
      • Make-up days for call-ins, or added shifts at end of contract
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
        • Unit information: Cardiovascular surgical, peripheral vascular surgical, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation and overflow
